We are a new southern continental food service company with a goal to make southern flyvor
famous. We specialize in large Grinder sandwiches. We show case food and flight for a new
refreshing and inspiring dinning experience.
Our mission at The Aviator Cafe is to provide the customer with a refreshing dining experience
that will send them away with a good healthy feeling. We will be honest and forthcoming with all
of our employees, vendors, merchants and customers. At The Aviator Cafe the customer is king
and we will prove it. Most importantly we will provide satisfaction to all who enter The Aviator

Located just minutes from the Blairsville Airport, in the bustling Bi-Low Groceries shopping plaza.
The Aviator Cafe bares the story of a young man (Vernon ST. Clair Wood) my Grand Father. The
story is set back in the early depression era of the 1900's. Vernon lost everything including his
father, mother and brother by the age of thirteen. Vernon was inspired by flight. He set a record for
one of the youngest and fastest men to have ever soloed as a pilot. Vernon went on to barn storm
his way across the country and find work at the Hoover dam. My grandfather always loved flying
and it shows in his life and his family. My grandfather has inspired me to feature flight in
symphony with food to bring an experience to the restaurant industry that is quite unique
The Aviator Cafe is a small family run / family owned restaurant based in Blairsville GA. It is
owned and operated by James and Katherine Wood. Both owners have a background in the
restaurant industry. James is in charge of the culinary department and Katherine is in charge of
the pastry and baking department. They both love to meet and help the customers with anything
that they need. We are currently looking for some part time help if you are interested please send
